HOW CAN YOU QUICKLY OBTAIN CUSTOM-MADE MENISCI AND TENDONS FROM US?

First, an application must be made by the treating surgeon, which contains certain information about the patient (e.g. weight, gender) and contains the exact specification of the desired graft. You can find this order form here.

SUGGESTIONS AND DECISION

Based on the availability, you will receive a confirmation from us that a suitable transplant is being sought. If the exact transplant you want is not available, we will suggest alternatives. After your decision, the final order will be shipped.

DELIVERY

The transplant is transported in an approved shipping box. Storage in the box is possible for up to five days, including the shipping time. In terms of transportation, the preferred surgery days are Tuesday through Thursday.

PROCEDURE FOR REMOVING A TENDON AND MENISCUS

1. REMOVAL OF THE GRAFT FROM THE DONOR

2. PREPARATION OF THE GRAFT

3. THE FIRST SWAB IS TAKEN AND PUT INTO AN INCUBATOR, WHICH INCUBATES THE CULTURE FOR 7 DAYS.

4. THE WHOLE GRAFT IS COATED WITH GENTAMYCIN (ANTIBIOTIC). GENTAMYCIN IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST MOST BACTERIA

5. SECOND SWAB TAKEN

6. IF THE CULTURE IS NEGATIVE AFTER 7 DAYS, THAT MEANS THAT NO GERMS CAN BE FOUND ON THE GRAFT.
